I'm Gabriel Ragazi, food scientist at Prodeen—and things have been buzzing lately. We’ve been deep in development mode, building new agents and playbooks to make your life (and mine!) a whole lot easier in the food world.
Today, I’ve got something extra fresh to share—a new product developed with Prodeen Automation playbook ruin in parallel with the smart compliance experience using Prodeen’s AI platform. Buckle up.
Chewing gum—but make it mindful.
Aura isn’t about a jolt of energy. It’s about finding a moment of calm, clarity, and focus in the middle of a chaotic day. Its Yuzu + Green Tea flavor combo brings a botanical, slightly citrusy vibe that feels premium, elevated, and super aligned with current consumer trends toward functional, plant-based ingredients.
But that’s just the start of the story.
I was tasked with developing Aura for three very different regulatory environments: Brazil, Canada and The European Union
Challenges? We love them.
We love them specially because Prodeen has our back from the very beginning.
Working with three completely different countries—each with its own consumer preferences, regulatory requirements, and functional trends—meant I had to be strategic right out of the gate. So, what did I do?
I prompted,
“Create a chewing gum brand name, a flavor, and a concept based on current trends and market demands (it will be sold in Brazil, Canada, and the European Union).”
And just like that, Aura was born—with its unique Yuzu + Green Tea flavor and a purpose-driven concept rooted in mindfulness, functionality, and clean-label appeal.
Now I had a product. I had a concept. But where was my formula?
Simple: another prompt.
Pa-pum.
In seconds, I had a full formulation laid out in front of me—including the why behind each ingredient, it was all there with data summarized into a specific Smart Grid that I can later on connect to any existing formulation tool. to make sure my system of records is up to date.
One of the ingredients in Aura is carnauba wax — “Gabriel, what’s that even for?” Great question. It’s a plant-based wax used right at the end of the process as a glazing agent. Basically, it gives the gum that smooth, shiny finish that looks clean and feels just right when you pop it in your mouth.
But then comes the million-dollar question:
Can I use my chosen amount of carnauba wax (4000 ppm) across all three markets?
Prodeen already had country-specific agents in place—but our dev team is working on something even better: A multi-market compliance playbook.
It’s a single tool that lets you assess regulatory compliance for multiple countries—all at once.
So I asked:
“Are 4000 ppm of carnauba wax allowed in Brazil, Canada, and the EU?”
And boom—instant results:
That’s a full compliance report, including a clean side-by-side comparison table, generated in minutes—without digging through dozens of databases or regulatory PDFs.
With Prodeen’s multi-market compliance playbook, you can:
✅ Speed up by getting instant clarity on what’s allowed (and where).
✅ Avoid reformulation surprises late in the game.
✅ Communicate faster with regulatory teams using automated reports.
✅ Integrate directly into your PLM, ERP, or formulation systems via exportable smart grids.
And all of it starts with one simple prompt.
So, what do you think?
