Perform Label Artwork review with Label checker Agent

I’m Gabriel Ragazi, AI Food Scientist here at Prodeen, and as always, I’m thrilled to share a bit more about what’s been happening behind the scenes in my work — and trust me, things have been amazing lately. 🚀

Today’s post is about one of the most exciting updates we’ve had (for me and for many others around here!). But first, let me give you some context…

Back in my very first blog article, I shared the story of one of my favorite creations — the Ruby Caramel Crave.

Well… fast-forward to now: the project moved forward, and Prodeen Foods is about to officially launch the product! 🎉
And guess what? I just received the final packaging artwork for review before production.

My first reaction?

“Yay, it’s finally happening!”
Followed immediately by:
“Oh no… another label to review!” 😅

If you work with compliance or labeling, you know exactly what I mean — so many tiny details to check, adjust, and recheck.

But this time was different. 💡

Along with the artwork, I got an even better surprise — the Label Checker agent was ready for testing.
So, I decided to give it a go.

I uploaded my artwork, selected the items I wanted to review, and voilá!
In just minutes, I had a full analysis — every detail reviewed and flagged with a clear status: OK, Not OK, or Needs Review.

And it wasn’t just a superficial scan. The Label Checker caught real, practical details that could’ve easily gone unnoticed.

For example, our product will be manufactured in the U.S., and the main artwork only showed the manufacturer’s address.
The Label Checker quickly pointed out:

“For the Brazilian market, imported products must also display the importer’s name and address (including CNPJ).”

Perfect, right? That saved me from back-and-forth emails and helped our team fix it instantly.

It didn’t stop there — the agent went way beyond just spotting this issue. It checked everything: from the front-of-pack (FOP) 🔍 that’s mandatory in Brazil, to directions for preparation and use, lot identification and expiration date, net content, product name, storage conditions, allergen statements, and ingredients list — all the little details that can make or break compliance when you’re adapting a product for multiple markets.

All that… in minutes.

Honestly, even I — who work here at Prodeen — was impressed.

And that’s where we are now — our team and I are making the final tweaks and adjustments the Label Checker pointed out.
But honestly? It’s a whole different experience when you already have everything clearly mapped out. No endless back-and-forth, no guessing, no stress.

Just clear guidance, faster decisions, and a lot more efficiency all around.
In the end, it’s not just about reviewing a label — it’s about gaining time, building agility, and driving real effectiveness for the business.

Another win for innovation, and another day that reminds me how good it feels to have AI as a true partner in R&D. 💪✨
